damask rose
damask rose is one of the oldest roses in the world. its cosmetic and culinary uses go back to ancient times, as old as biblical times.
it is so potent with anti-aging and antimicrobial components that it makes a great ingredient for dull and fatigued skin. It brightens and tones the skin instantly.
damask rose is almost what makes maniraba. we love to use it in many of our products.

argan
argan oil is synonymous with morocco. the argan tree (argania) only produces a few kilos of fruit a year, which gives argan oil the title of one of the scarcest oils in the world.
a natural anti-aging oil, argan oil deeply hydrates, moisturizes and nourishes the skin to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, tighten and firm the skin texture, and reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
orange blossoms
orange blossom water is a remarkable toner!
with its combination of rich calcium which contributes to antioxidant production, it gives your skin a younger look. and with its ample amounts of vitamin c and antioxidants, your skin will be glowing and healthy. add to all these benefits, orange blossom water has a heavenly scent!

olives
olives have many vitamins, including a, d, k, and e. it also contains polyphenolic compounds, making this oil a magic tool in helping to reduce the oxidative stress in the body that is caused due to ageing and wrinkles. with regular use of the olive oil or natural products that contain it, the skin improves its elasticity, reduces wrinkles and dark spots, and makes the skin look younger and healthier.
hair also becomes stronger, shinier and dandruff free with the use of olive oil.
our maniraba body cleanser has both olives and organic olive oil mixed together at more than 75% concentration.
rhassoul clay
rhassoul clay is a grey-ish brown clay only found in a valley in the atlas mountains of morocco.
it is formed due to geothermal activities that happen in the atlas area which makes it very rich in minerals such as magnesium and potassium.
rhassoul clay has detergent properties, which makes it a great shampoo base and exfoliant for cleansing your scalp. especially if you have oily hair, due the concentration of silica in the rhassoul clay.

rosehip
rose hip oil is rich in vitamins a, c, e and omega fatty acids and 3,6, and 9, which promote skin cell turnover, skin elasticity, and improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation. the fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties and vitamin a can help stimulate collagen and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
our argan rose blend is packed with rosehip oil at 25% concentration.
leucidal liquid
leucidal liquid is a natural preservative derived from the ferment of radish root. radishes are fermented with a lactic acid bacteria called leuconostoc kimchii.
leucidal liquid (radish root) is designed to provide gentle protection against bacteria, mold and yeasts. leucidal radish root is an excellent natural alternative to synthetic preservatives.
amticide coconut
AMTicide® Coconut is created by fermenting Cocos nucifera (Coconut) fruit with Lactobacillus to deliver a non-irritating, effective and multifunctional product which can provide moisturizing and conditioning benefits in hair and skincare applications. In addition, it is effective at preventing the growth of fungus, specifically yeast and mold, thus providing additional protection for formulations using natural preservative systems.
vitamin e
vitamin e is a fat-soluble vitamin that acts as an antioxidant, helping protect cells from damage throughout your body. it has been shown that people with dry and flaky skin benefit the most from this vitamin if added to cosmetic products, because it enhances moisturization.
we add vitamin e (tocopherol) in our soap and oil blend at less than 1%.
sweet almond
sweet almond oil contains many great nutrients (i.e vitamin a, e, omega-3 fatty acids & zinc).
some clinical studies have shown that using it in skincare can help in reducing puffiness and under-eye circles (due to its anti-inflammatory properties). improving complexion and skin tone (due to its emollient properties), treating dry skin and improving acne. the oil’s fatty acid content may help dissolve excess oil the skin, while the retinoids in the oil may reduce the appearance of acne and improve cell turnover.
ylang ylang
ylang ylang essential oil does wonders on dry and oily skin to help regulate the sebum production, and with its powerful antioxidant properties, it can help against the free radicals that are responsible for premature ageing.
